To publish an Android application, you must enroll in a Google Play Developer account. You can register using your existing Google account. For details on annual fees, visit: https://play.google.com/apps/publish


Step 1: Create a New Android Application


  • Log in to your Google Play Developer Account.

  • Click the CREATE APPLICATION button on the right.

  • Select the Default Language and enter the Application Title:

  • Default Language: The primary language for your store listing.

  • Title: This will appear as the app name in the Play Store.


Step 2: Upload the Signed APK


  • Download the signed APK from your app settings.

  • Click on the application row.

  • Navigate to the App Release section.

  • Under the Production track, click MANAGE → CREATE RELEASE.

  • Upload the signed APK using the BROWSE FILES option.

  • Click SAVE at the bottom.


Step 3: Prepare the Store Listing


  • Go to Store Presence → Store Listing.

  • Fill in the required fields:

  • Title, Short Description, Full Description

  • Phone Screenshots, Hi-Res Icon, Featured Graphic, etc.

  • Ensure all images meet the required size guidelines.


Step 4: Apply Content Rating


  • Open the Content Rating tab and click Continue.

  • Enter your email address and confirm.

  • Complete the content rating questionnaire.


Step 5: Set Pricing & Distribution


  • Navigate to the Pricing & Distribution tab.

  • Choose whether your app is Free or Paid.

  • Select your app's visibility:

  • Available in all countries

  • Restricted to specific countries



Step 6: Publish the Application


  • Open the App Release tab.

  • Under the Production track, select EDIT RELEASE.

  • Click Review at the bottom.
