Follow these simple steps to enable the app embed in your Shopify theme.


Step 1: Open the App Embed Settings


From your app dashboard:

  • Locate the Theme store app embed section.
  • If the status shows OFF, click App embed settings.



This will open the Shopify Theme Customizer.



Step 2: Turn On the App Embed


Inside the Shopify Theme Customizer:

  • Open the App embeds panel on the left.
  • Locate your app (for example, EU Withdrawal Button).
  • Turn the toggle ON to enable the app embed.
  • Click the Save button in the top-right corner of the Theme Customizer.
  • Wait until Shopify finishes saving your changes.



Once enabled, the app will become active in your theme.


Important: If you close the Theme Customizer without clicking Save, the app embed will remain disabled.



Step 3: Verify the Status


Return to the app dashboard.

If everything has been configured correctly:

  • The Theme store app embed status will display ON.
  • Your app is now active and ready to appear on your storefront.




Tips:

  • Always click Save after enabling the app embed.
  • Ensure you are enabling the app embed on your published (live) theme.
  • If the status does not update immediately, refresh the app dashboard.
  • If the app is still not visible on your storefront, perform a hard refresh (Ctrl + Shift + R on Windows or Cmd + Shift + R on Mac).
